In order to continue procrastinating, i've decided to blog..my management assignment doesnt appeal to me at all..i dont really like that subject anyway...so since i have nothing much to blog about...i'll just talk about frisbee training....Just to tease kafai....since he was in a bad mood on sunday..he wouldnt help me set up the field and wil was conveniently late...anyway, on friday when we were at chs frisbee club training..kafai almost did an 'own goal'..not sure what rules apply when that happens in frisbee...but i was horrified that kafai actually almost scored at the wrong endzone...managing to confuse all other teammates in the process...also, jun jie has been joining us lately for frisbee practise on sunday..he finally revealed his ulterior motive for that...haha..no offends...

And i'm just going to casually mention my darling CARINE LEE JIA LING's name here...long time since i've called you that..haha..dun get jealous k?i've mentioned you in my post too..how you doing girl?miss ya lots..that's all then...=)

Well, i know it's a little late for this post..but my internet was down on Saturday so i didnt have the chance to encourage everyone to participte in Earth Hour..however, i'm proud to say that i did...and not only for that one hour but almost the whole day...also, i not only switched off my lights, even my fan, computer, laptop etc were swithced off..Regarding this event, there were a lot of feedback including criticism...some people didnt see the point in turning off your light for one hour every year...however, i think this event is about creating awareness...In order to save our planet earth, i believe that as long as eveyone takes one step however small we will contribute in stopping global warming..With this small step, people will start to reflect on their lifestyles and start thinking about what can they do to save our planet...In my opinion, the organizers of the event have taken the first step and put in effort to actually do something to stop global warming campared to some people who cant even give constructive criticism...at least some people take action in what they believe in unlike others who critisize and point fingers but do nothing...

That aside, now that we've supported Earth Hour, it's time to do sometihng more for our planet..the most effective way to do it is to change our lifestyle..there are a lot of tips on the internet on how we can save the earth..everyone go google it..a few things we can do is recycle(obviously), create less waste, save enegy like water and electricity..that means taking showers instead of baths..(read this MUN HON, no more half hour baths for you!) and most importantly having a considerate and responsible attitude towards our earth...we should start saving the earth, recycling and taking care of the environment for our future generation..we shouldnt take what is given to us for granted...

Some of you may be wondering or even complaining why i havent updated my blog for more than a week..Well, i was busy reading the Twilight series..Lots of people may have watched the movie..and i heard that it was pretty good..however, i never read the book before this..So when my mother's friend gave us the movie, i decided to watch it...partially because the actor was cute XD but i would say it's a good movie..of course many parts were cut off but that's inevitable...i was pretty impressed with the movie that i decided to read the book..once i started, i got hooked..like reading the Harry Potter series...luckily my sis managed to borrow the whole series from a friend so i didnt have to wait to read the next book..the first and last book is good..the second is a little boring and the third not so much action..the plot was good but i think Stephenie Meyer is not as good a writer as J.K Rowling..her story is interesting in the sense that it makes u want to know what happens next, read on and not put the book down..but the way the action is written isnt so good..it's like i cant really feel the excitement, the adrenalin rush or picture the whole scene in a action filled way...but it's still a good series to read..Stephenie Meyer was also working on writing the first book, Twilight in Edward Cullen's point of view called Midnight Sun, but her draft was posted on the net illegally which made her pretty upset..so she put off writing the book indefinitely..the 1st 12 chapters are available for download but i think i'll wait..i dont think i can stand the suspense waiting for her to finish writing...

ok..i noe you guys are sick of reading about my birthday celebrations and all..but this is the last post..Yesterday, i went to Pyramid to celebrate my birthday with my frisbee teammates El-Ninos...those present were Wil, Guan Huan, Ka Fai, Mun Hon, Bryan, Chien Hoong, Yubin, Jian Shen, Fiona and Huei Mien...First, we went for lunch at Secret Receipi, then we watched the movie Marley and me..it was a good show...worth it to watch...because there were 7 of us watching the show, our seats were split into 5 at the F row and 2 people at the E row..as we couldnt agree on which two people should sit at the E row which is below, everyone decided to go into the cinema and 'snatch' their seats..so the last 2 would have no choice but to sit at the bottom row...Unfortunately, my very 'smart' friends didnt see the seat numbers and row on the ticket..only wil n I did XD so when we went into the cinema hall, they saw a row of seats that was empty...they assumed it was our seat and sat down..however, they sat at the wrong row..haha..only Bryan thought something was wrong and didnt sit down..seeing our friends' mistake, wil and I decided to go to the toilet first..and triple check our seat and row numbers...when we came back and sat at the row above, they started feeling quite puzzled..but, bryan, jian shen and yubin rushed to occupy the other 3 seats..leaving kafai and hui mien below...Although yubin and jian shen are friends with huei mien, they wouldnt budge and go sit below with her..so kind bryan went down to sit with kafai instead..Sorry huei mien..we dont have anything against you!I'm really sorry if it made u feel uncomfortable..next, pictures..!I dont know why everyone didnt want to take a group picture..kafai, guan huan and chien hoong not in the pics...

This post is a little late..but that's because I've been rather busy lately..still am..but i decided to take time off from doing my assignment to blog a little =) On Wednesday, after having my birthday lunch with my besties Carine, Grace and Jun Jie, i had my birthday dinner with my family...it was a simple occasion, just the usual thing we always do and nothing out of the ordinary...But, I really want to thank my family for the wonderful birthday presents i received...especially my dad!I love you daddy! Thank you so much for my present..my dad is the best! Last year, he bought me a car for my birthday and this year, he got me a laptop...on top of that, my mother bought me a cake, which Jun Jie help me pick..Oreo cheese..not bad..Crystal bought me Big Apple dough nuts..very thoughtful of her, Deanna got me a nice book while baby Sam made me a card cum bookmark..smart of her...so here are the photos...

Lately, I've been having alot of fattening foods..on Tuesday, my dad took my family to our club for a swim..It's been a long time since I've been swimming..was hoping to burn away some fats..but was rather unsuccessful..as i wasnt really in the mood...but anyway, the food, or rather what i was eating was rather tasteless but still fattening nonetheless...After dinner, a guy who was changing the light bulb outside the restaurant suddenly fell from the ladder...his chin hit one of the steps of the ladder and was 'sliced' open...it was bleeding very much..luckily, there was a doctor around who took a look at him..fortunately, it wasnt anything serious and he only needed a few stitches...It was a rather frightening sight with all the blood on the floor..as usual, almost everyone from the restaurant went to have a look..save for my sister and I...After all that scenario, we left to pick my sis...

Yesterday, I went to MV with Carine, Grace and Jun Jie to celebrate my birthday...We went to Alexis in The Gardens to have lunch...It was Carine's idea because she wanted to prove to me that she liked the place because of the food and not because it shares the same middle name as her...I admit the food was not bad..but the price was scary la..it's rather costly for normal food...Anyway, i had a great time hanging out with you guys..it's been awhile since we've enjoyed each others company...Thanks alot for celebrating with me =) I really appreciate it and luv you guys lots!

WARNING!! This is just a piece on my opinion..please dont start a debate in my chatbox...=)

The freedom to go anywhere we want, the ability to vote, hold a job and get paid equally are just some of the things women in Malaysia often take for granted. For other parts of the world, many women still face gender oppression and discrimination..So the question is will men and women ever be equal in terms of rights, welfare etc...unfortunately my answer would be no. Of course, i do wish that women's basic rights are not ignored or violated..we should all be equal in that sense..but in my opinion...some special rights that women do enjoy for being the fairer sex should not be take away..someone once said to me that if men and women are to be equal, then to be fair, we should be equal in every aspect...call me greedy if you must, but besides being equal in all aspects, i would still like to keep the special privileges women enjoy like occasionally getting away when we've done something wrong and being given priority when entering buildings, lifts etc...the little things like these..so anyhow, i do hope that at the very least, women from third world and less developed countries will be able to enjoy basic rights in the near future...

It's only the second day of uni and i feel so stressed..on the first day itself, i was already given an assignment..today is the second day of class where another assignment was given out...in addition, i had business & economic statistics lecture these two days..heaven knows why i cant sit through them..i really feel like falling asleep in this class maybe because it's after lunch..i didnt understand what the lecturer was teaching in the two classes i attended..on the other hand, uni textbooks are costing an arm and a leg..and second hand books are few...right now..i'm suppose to be reading journals and articles..but the uni online studying system is so slow..even the weather is getting to me..it's so hot i'm having headaches and my stomach doesnt feel well these few days..maybe it's because i dont have proper meals as i dont have much time in between lectures and the food in the cafeteria is rather pricey and doesnt taste very good....

i know i shouldnt complain..but i cant help it..maybe i dont wana be grown up after all...i need motivation right now..help...

Some of you may be wondering or even complaining why i havent updated my blog for more than a week..Well, i was busy reading the Twilight series..Lots of people may have watched the movie..and i heard that it was pretty good..however, i never read the book before this..So when my mother's friend gave us the movie, i decided to watch it...partially because the actor was cute XD but i would say it's a good movie..of course many parts were cut off but that's inevitable...i was pretty impressed with the movie that i decided to read the book..once i started, i got hooked..like reading the Harry Potter series...luckily my sis managed to borrow the whole series from a friend so i didnt have to wait to read the next book..the first and last book is good..the second is a little boring and the third not so much action..the plot was good but i think Stephenie Meyer is not as good a writer as J.K Rowling..her story is interesting in the sense that it makes u want to know what happens next, read on and not put the book down..but the way the action is written isnt so good..it's like i cant really feel the excitement, the adrenalin rush or picture the whole scene in a action filled way...but it's still a good series to read..Stephenie Meyer was also working on writing the first book, Twilight in Edward Cullen's point of view called Midnight Sun, but her draft was posted on the net illegally which made her pretty upset..so she put off writing the book indefinitely..the 1st 12 chapters are available for download but i think i'll wait..i dont think i can stand the suspense waiting for her to finish writing...

ok..i noe you guys are sick of reading about my birthday celebrations and all..but this is the last post..Yesterday, i went to Pyramid to celebrate my birthday with my frisbee teammates El-Ninos...those present were Wil, Guan Huan, Ka Fai, Mun Hon, Bryan, Chien Hoong, Yubin, Jian Shen, Fiona and Huei Mien...First, we went for lunch at Secret Receipi, then we watched the movie Marley and me..it was a good show...worth it to watch...because there were 7 of us watching the show, our seats were split into 5 at the F row and 2 people at the E row..as we couldnt agree on which two people should sit at the E row which is below, everyone decided to go into the cinema and 'snatch' their seats..so the last 2 would have no choice but to sit at the bottom row...Unfortunately, my very 'smart' friends didnt see the seat numbers and row on the ticket..only wil n I did XD so when we went into the cinema hall, they saw a row of seats that was empty...they assumed it was our seat and sat down..however, they sat at the wrong row..haha..only Bryan thought something was wrong and didnt sit down..seeing our friends' mistake, wil and I decided to go to the toilet first..and triple check our seat and row numbers...when we came back and sat at the row above, they started feeling quite puzzled..but, bryan, jian shen and yubin rushed to occupy the other 3 seats..leaving kafai and hui mien below...Although yubin and jian shen are friends with huei mien, they wouldnt budge and go sit below with her..so kind bryan went down to sit with kafai instead..Sorry huei mien..we dont have anything against you!I'm really sorry if it made u feel uncomfortable..next, pictures..!I dont know why everyone didnt want to take a group picture..kafai, guan huan and chien hoong not in the pics...

This post is a little late..but that's because I've been rather busy lately..still am..but i decided to take time off from doing my assignment to blog a little =) On Wednesday, after having my birthday lunch with my besties Carine, Grace and Jun Jie, i had my birthday dinner with my family...it was a simple occasion, just the usual thing we always do and nothing out of the ordinary...But, I really want to thank my family for the wonderful birthday presents i received...especially my dad!I love you daddy! Thank you so much for my present..my dad is the best! Last year, he bought me a car for my birthday and this year, he got me a laptop...on top of that, my mother bought me a cake, which Jun Jie help me pick..Oreo cheese..not bad..Crystal bought me Big Apple dough nuts..very thoughtful of her, Deanna got me a nice book while baby Sam made me a card cum bookmark..smart of her...so here are the photos...

Lately, I've been having alot of fattening foods..on Tuesday, my dad took my family to our club for a swim..It's been a long time since I've been swimming..was hoping to burn away some fats..but was rather unsuccessful..as i wasnt really in the mood...but anyway, the food, or rather what i was eating was rather tasteless but still fattening nonetheless...After dinner, a guy who was changing the light bulb outside the restaurant suddenly fell from the ladder...his chin hit one of the steps of the ladder and was 'sliced' open...it was bleeding very much..luckily, there was a doctor around who took a look at him..fortunately, it wasnt anything serious and he only needed a few stitches...It was a rather frightening sight with all the blood on the floor..as usual, almost everyone from the restaurant went to have a look..save for my sister and I...After all that scenario, we left to pick my sis...

Yesterday, I went to MV with Carine, Grace and Jun Jie to celebrate my birthday...We went to Alexis in The Gardens to have lunch...It was Carine's idea because she wanted to prove to me that she liked the place because of the food and not because it shares the same middle name as her...I admit the food was not bad..but the price was scary la..it's rather costly for normal food...Anyway, i had a great time hanging out with you guys..it's been awhile since we've enjoyed each others company...Thanks alot for celebrating with me =) I really appreciate it and luv you guys lots!

Finally, a chance to blog..I've got so many things to blog about..and that's does happen everyday! WARNING!! This is just a piece on my opinion..please dont start a debate in my chatbox...=)

The freedom to go anywhere we want, the ability to vote, hold a job and get paid equally are just some of the things women in Malaysia often take for granted. For other parts of the world, many women still face gender oppression and discrimination..So the question is will men and women ever be equal in terms of rights, welfare etc...unfortunately my answer would be no. Of course, i do wish that women's basic rights are not ignored or violated..we should all be equal in that sense..but in my opinion...some special rights that women do enjoy for being the fairer sex should not be take away..someone once said to me that if men and women are to be equal, then to be fair, we should be equal in every aspect...call me greedy if you must, but besides being equal in all aspects, i would still like to keep the special privileges women enjoy like occasionally getting away when we've done something wrong and being given priority when entering buildings, lifts etc...the little things like these..so anyhow, i do hope that at the very least, women from third world and less developed countries will be able to enjoy basic rights in the near future...

It's only the second day of uni and i feel so stressed..on the first day itself, i was already given an assignment..today is the second day of class where another assignment was given out...in addition, i had business & economic statistics lecture these two days..heaven knows why i cant sit through them..i really feel like falling asleep in this class maybe because it's after lunch..i didnt understand what the lecturer was teaching in the two classes i attended..on the other hand, uni textbooks are costing an arm and a leg..and second hand books are few...right now..i'm suppose to be reading journals and articles..but the uni online studying system is so slow..even the weather is getting to me..it's so hot i'm having headaches and my stomach doesnt feel well these few days..maybe it's because i dont have proper meals as i dont have much time in between lectures and the food in the cafeteria is rather pricey and doesnt taste very good....

i know i shouldnt complain..but i cant help it..maybe i dont wana be grown up after all...i need motivation right now..help...
