The Home Decoration Exhibition (HomeDec) is being held from today to the 3rd of May. Since tomorrow is a public holidays, people with nothing to do should come to this exhibition with their parents..Why am i blogging about this? Because i'll be there tomorrow! My dad has a booth in the exhibition so as a filial daughter i'll be there to help out the whole day..Details of the exhibition are:

Today was really a tiring n hectic day...i spent most of my day attending classes..NON STOP!! It was like a marathon..my classes were from 9-12.30 and 1-4..the only break i had was from 12.30- 1..all because tomorrow is a holiday..later, i also attended the frisbee training session for awhile...as of now i'm dead tired...and i'm having another tiring day tomorrow...sigh, dear assignments, will i ever finish all of you in time?

Reading Kit’s blog gave me something to think about. So I’m pondering on a few questions of my own.

Is it enough to be together but not being able to enjoy dating in public?
Is it enough to be together but not have you during times of need?
Is it enough to be together but not have your time and attention?
Is it enough to be together but only have limited communication?
Is it enough to know that you love me but you don’t show it?

In conclusion, I can say that humans are selfish people. Ok, maybe just me. But that’s how it is. Isn’t it?

Saturday was a good day..the weather was nice, though a little too sunny..but rain would have spoilt the Monash Music Festival i was attending with Patricia, Grace, Ka Fai, Mun Hon , Chien Hoong and Chuan Kai...When we got there, there wasnt a crowd yet so it was rather nice...we were also the one of the first 200 to get there..so we got a goodie bag..very unexpected..but the goodie bad was nice..they were very generous in giving vouchers and stuff...first, we had lunch..and facing the difficulty of deciding what to eat, grace suggested we buy everything and share..not a bad idea..the food was not bad actually...but i dont like sugarless soya bean ><>

Today is EARTH DAY...so lets all do something to save our planet..i'm sure everyone has noticed that the weather is getting unbearably hot...and like i said in my previous post, the temperature is reaching 40 degrees! So it really is time for everyone to go green, reduce you carbon footprint, plant trees and save the earth!!! I read somewhere about sunway pyramid's plan of going green and i think it's a very good idea and a great initiative..Shoppers are encouraged to bring their own shopping bags everyday when shopping at sunway pyramid...as an incentive, sunway pyramid will provide free parking for its shoppers every tuesday except public holidays...all you have to do is purchase rm50 and above and bring your own shopping bag...then go to any concierge and present your parking ticket and receipt....however, this incentive is only applicable for product based merchandise and not applicable for valet, jockey and motorcycle parking...so i'll definately support sunway pyramid's positive step to reduce plastic bag usage....

Don't know what to put as my title..so i just put something random...Today my lecturer said something that we've heard of many times that is WORK HARD & PLAY HARD...but i'm not sure how many of us fit into this category....i think some either play too hard or study too hard XD it's hard to find a balance...i wish i could play more...>< And, he also said that those who only study and not play are nerds...sigh..so i'm a nerd then...or mostly forced to be one...

After classes today, i decided to do my assignments in the library..however, the library was unbelievably full..every corner of the library was occupied with students...maybe an assignment is due or something...so i spent the next half an hour looking for a place to do my assignment..it was madness..all the discussion rooms, study corners even the classrooms were filled with students using the computer and internet services...so eventually i ended up doing my assignment here...

This is actually outside a classroom..along the corridor...there were two tables and chairs nicely placed and a socket nearby...perfect! It’s actually quite a nice place..there arent many people around and it was very breezy...so i had a good time doing my assignment..i'll be sure to visit that place again soon to avoid fighting with others in the library with the very cold air conditioning...

There's so many things going through my head right now...So many feelings in me that i cant put into words....Internally, i'm debating with myself...Maybe it's wrong to feel this way...but i cant help it..I know it's not your fault, but i cant stop myself putting pressure on you..Sometimes, i think my actions hurt us both...Maybe it hurts you more than i know, more than you show...But these thoughts have been appearing in my mind more often now...I thought it was over, but it seems that there's no way to solve it...

On another matter, i think i'm being very ungrateful..but i cant help it, i dunno why i feel this way..maybe things have changed...maybe i have changed...i read something while blog hopping..it got me thinking..were my actions wrong...?I wonder how things would have turned out if i made a different choice..a different decision..but that is too late...I hope i dont screw up now...i'm sorry!

Lastly, i think it feels like the time is right for me to go...somethings here are screwed up...and it is my nature to run away instead of facing them...sometimes...it's easier that way...Even fear of the unknown is not an obstacle anymore..i'm ready..i think..but the only things i cant leave is you..and the happiness i've found here..I admit i have no confidence...not in you but myself...

*These are just part of the things that are stressing me out...the three major ones..i had to release some tension...the rest of the stress is managable..So pls DONT ask me what i'm talking about...thx...It's just very personal..Don't worry, I'll be fine..=)

People! We really need to start saving the earth...seriously...I can feel the effects of global warming..i'm sure you can too...and it's getting worse...The weather was so hot yesterday, my house felt like an oven...According to my aunt who has an outdoor thermometer thing, it was 40 degrees out there yesterday and Friday as well...I had to try very hard to refrain myself from turning the air conditioner on and contributing to more global warming...i used two fans instead...it was pure torture and lots of suffering...and it was only a saturday...i shudder to think what the weather would be like today...towards the evening, there were signs that it was gonna rain..i felt relieved..but only for a second as it did not rain at all despite the intense heat...gosh..so come on people...help me out..i'm sure we're all suffering...

SAVE THE EARTH!!!!

People keep many different animals as pets like the usual cat, dog etc...and also some exotic pets like snakes and the like...however, i would say that my favourite pe would be tortoises..or rabbits..ok, i cant decide..but at present, i have tortoises as pets..they're really nice in a way..on the other and, my mother promised me a rabbit when i was nine..we used to rare 2 in my grandfather's house a year or two back, but the maid's carelessness killed our rabbits..too bad we could keep it in our house so i can take care of it...so back to the tortoises..my sis just bought two tortoises for her friend...they're so cute

And these are my tortoises..they're about 4 years old..i've had tortoises since i was in primary school..but they always ran away...and i had to keep buying new ones...contrary to the belief that tortoises are slow..these can run quite fast..or maybe because they're young...haha...so i'm happy i managed to keep them until now...

On Friday, my uni actually had a fire drill...they sent us an email about it..but the email was sent a little late so i didnt see the point in it..anyway, i was having my econs tutorial which only lasted an hour..however, the fire drill took up 45 mins of the tutorial..i dont understand why it took so long..and we couldnt even hear what the firemen were saying...it happened as our tutorial was about to begin, we suddenly heard through the p.a. system an announcement about a fire..for a minute, everyone just sat there looking at each other..even our tutor was skeptical..he went out to check what other classes were doing..then he said 'i think we should do something, let's evacuate'...everyone even had time to pack all their things and walk a big round, down the stairs to the field..then we were roasting in the 10 am sun...many people opened umbrellas...we had to line up according to our building...then the firemen were 'lecturing' us..but no one could hear...well, i couldnt..after 45 mins, we were allowed to return to out spective tutorial rooms..i'd say this is a very different fire drill from the ones we've had in school..i didnt even know unis did fire drills..we didnt have one in sunway..anyway, many people were taking pictures while waiting to return to our classes..victor took one for me and patricia too...

Ausmat life was great with you around..thanks for driving us around just to hang out...Hopefully if you start your tertiary education in Sunway, we can meet more often...I'm dying of boredom alone here..i need laughter in my life...Anyway, may all your birthday dreams & wishes come true...Take care...! =)

One word says it all...Frisbee camp was AWESOME...!!!It was really a great experience joining a frisbee camp for the first time...on Saturday morning, all participants gathered at the netball court for registration and division of teams...then we had an ice-breaking session..the games were pretty fun...i'm sure everyone enjoyed themselves very much..especially the caterpillar game..there were a few injuries too...then, we picked a name for our group and headed to the classrooms to clean up, rearrange the furniture and unpack...

After lunch, frisbee training and friendly matches were held till dinner time..at night, it rained cats and dogs...we had to move to an empty classroom to have our dinner...then it was games time again, card games this time...with wei jiat and chien hoong having their own karaoke session as well..a few of the good girls namely miaw fen, chye leng n kim opted to do their homework instead..i played bluff with wei jiat, chien hoong, kok choon, ethan n wil..and i truly sucked at it..i cant lie for nuts..they practically saw through me everytime i lied..i eventually gave up...approximately 10 pm, we had a 'surprise visit' from mr. micheal..because he couldnt contact yubin who last his phone the night before..everyone got lectured by him..but i was spared and praised instead XD he came back close to 1 am to check on us again..kim was having a rather bad nose bleed then...

The other participants were put to sleep while we seniors discussed how to solve a problem we were facing and cleaned up the room we used previously for dinner..by about 4 am, everyone was asleep..except for me..i really couldnt sleep..so i ended up awake the whole night..at 5 something, kim had another nose bleed and was helped by chye leng..sorry girl..i didnt know it was you..wil's rooster alarm started crowing at 6.30, waking everyone and frightening some in the process, except him..

By 8, everyone was up and about waiting for breakfast to be served..In the mean time, they packed, cleared the classrooms and rearranged the furniture...honestly, all the food was really good..and wasnt at all pricey..breakfast was delicious!Mun Hon had 3-4 helpings so imagine the taste...after that, we had another round of the caterpillar game as many really liked the game and some who were late on Saturday didnt get to try it..

From 10 am onwards, a friendly competition was held between the teams which stopped around noon for lunch...during lunch, it was pouring heavily again...so the guys took the opportunity to go 'swimming'..after the rain, many showed off their diving skills in puddles of water while someone took pictures..the game resumed soon after and it was wei jiat's team versus my team vying for the first place..we eventually lost..but it was a good game...a group photo was taken during the prize giving ceremony and many of us left tired but very happy...

Doing things with the el-ninos gang is truly fun and exciting..regardless of what it is we do...credit goes to wei jiat, yubin and everyone else for a memorable 2 days camp..maybe next time we can go on holiday together..whatever it is, i'll really miss u guys when i leave..it's great to have known you guys, bonded and formed irreplaceable friendships and be part of this wonderful team....
